Herbs are a great addition to any garden, especially if you’re a cook—what’s better than having fresh herbs?
We have a great selection of herbs, but as always, we have the best selection the third week in April, so the early bird does get the worm!

Lavender
7 different varieties. Lavender is native to the Mediterranean where it grows in sunny, stony habitats. Today, it flourishes throughout southern Europe, Australia, and the United States. Lavender is a heavily branched short shrub that grows to a height of roughly 60 centimeters with erect, rod-like, leafy, green shoots. A silvery down covers the gray-green narrow leaves, which are oblong and tapered, attached directly at the base, and curled spirally. The oil in lavender's small, blue-violet flowers gives the herb its fragrant scent. The flowers are arranged in spirals of 6 - 10 blossoms, forming interrupted spikes above the foliage.
Rosemary
7 varieties. Rosemary is a native of the Mediterranean regions of Europe. Rosemary can grow as tall as 5 ft, producing strongly scented, leathery leaves used in perfumes and seasonings.
Mints
6 varieties. Native to the Mediterranean, mint is now grown virtually worldwide. Mints thrive in cool and moist places but will grow virtually anywhere.
Thymes
9 varieties. Thyme is the leaf of a low-growing shrub in the mint family called Thymus vulgaris. Its tiny grayish-green leaves rarely are greater than one-fourth inch long.
Oregano
5 varieties. It may grow two feet tall with a rounded, sprawling spread of 18 inches. White or pinkish-purple flower spikelets appear in mid to late summer.
Sages
7 varieties. Sage is a perennial evergreen shrub. Sage grows about 60 cm high.. At the end of the summer the sage plant forms attractive purplish flowers. All parts of the sage plant have a strong and typical scent.
Basils
6 varieties. Basil has round, often pointed leaves. Its highly fragrant leaves are used as a seasoning herb for a variety of foods but has become very popular as the main ingredient in pesto.
